Endless Health is a health tech startup based in Austin that tackles the unique problem that heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide even though 80% of cases are preventable through lifestyle change.
My Role
I joined endless health as the first design intern on the team and eventually became a Junior Product Designer. Throughout my time working with Endless Health, I assumed various roles and responsibilities...
→ A designer/developer 👩💻: I spearheaded the creation of an MVP of our app during a company Hackathon using Bravo Studios, a no-code app development software, in 2 week to pitch to stakeholders at SXSW 2023.

Takeaways
1. Take initiative in the face of uncertainty. The most valuable lesson I learned was the importance of taking the lead on projects, when I was not given step by step instructions on how to complete a project. My experience with Endless Health was invaluable in learning how to take initiative in making decisions and taking immediate action.
2. Never shy away from suggesting new ideas. At Endless Health I was consistently encouraged to express my opinions and suggestions, despite being youngest member on the team. This not only bolstered my own confidence in sharing my ideas, but also provided valuable learning opportunities for when my suggestions were disagreed with.
3. Always asking questions to foster an in depth understanding of the core of the company. When I was first onboarded onto the team, I had asked our CEO what I could do to stand out and be as successful in this role. He had said the former, I now carry with me inquisitiveness that serves not only to satisfy my personal curiosity, but allows me to foster a deeper comprehension of the company's operations.
